“Stay Positive!”- A statement we hear all too often! Of course this is a great piece of advice, and something that is pertinent to living a happy life; but it is something that is often easier said than done! Here are some crafty tips to help remind yourself to stay positive!
This one is super easy, but super helpful for keeping life in perspective! I got these cute little notecards from the dollar store and hand wrote some of my favorite quotes on them. I then tacked them on a bulletin board in my dorm room! I would glance over at them whenever I needed a little pick-me-up!

These ideas are probably only for the cheesiest of hearts (*cough, cough* me). These are both similar to putting up quotes! The image on the top is cut out quotes and inspirational words that I glued on cute craft paper! This one is totally girly, but you could always make it more edgy by choosing different fonts and colors! The Image on the bottom is a 12×12 board that I painted with chalk paint and wrote out the words in chalk! Super cute and fun!
This one is probably my favorite, and it has helped me so much! Every time something good happens to me, something as big as getting accepted into a college, or as small as getting lunch with a friend, I write it on a sticky note and put it up on my wall. This is a small glimpse at my collection of notes from 2014. I try to read over them as often as possible, especially on a bad day, to remember all the amazing things that have happened to me. Reading over any one of these brings a smile to my face, and makes me nostalgic of so many great memories!
I am a hoarder of every card and hand-written note I have ever received! If you don’t already do this, please do! I mostly started saving these simply because I didn’t want to throw them out, and now I am so glad that I did. I love reading through them to remind myself of all the people that love me and support me. It is incredibly uplifting and something I can cherish for the rest of my life, especially the cards I have from my late Great Grandmother.
Hopefully you can put some of these tips to work! Happy crafting!
