My oh my, it’s been a while since I have published anything on here. Some days I feel like I have a lot to say, and posting things just seems easy. Other days it feels like a chore- and I never want to write anything when it feels like a chore. It isn’t as if I have a huge following on this blog. In fact, who knows if a single person will even read this. BUT incase there is that one person that takes the time to, I want them to know that I took the time to write something down- long or short- because I was feeling passionate and driven to, not because I felt obligated for the purpose of keeping up with this “blog thing”. For one, if I ever feel as though writing is becoming some sort of routine or chore, my writing becomes just plain awful. Obviously I wouldn’t want anyone to read a piece of my writing that I regard as “awful”. Not that I am some amazing writer anyways, but when I am passionate, I know there is a voice that comes through in my writing. More importantly, I don’t enjoy writing when I don’t feel passionate or driven to because passion provides fluidity and honesty for me. So, in short, I will indeed write more, but only when those sporadic sparks of passion come. Hopefully, they come more and more often 🙂
