Thank You

I turned twenty a couple weeks ago (wow, I’m no longer a teenager! WHAT!?) and I must say, it was the most special birthday I have ever had. From long notes and cards, to amazing and thoughtful gifts, packages from friends who live far away, and best of all, just spending time with people that truly love me, it was more than I could have asked for. It was a simple, yet unforgettably special day. I look back to days like that everyday. I think about how unbelievably lucky I am to have people that show me such unconditional love and support.

Looking back on days like that helps me to find the good in days like today- a day that is a little more blue. Those days, comprised of endless memories, and those people, who have given me such ever-lasting friendships, shine a light on the days that life just isn’t in my favor. They help me to remember how fortunate I am, how life is a sweet blessing, how I am never alone. I am so fortunate to have a support system through the good, the great, the bad, and the ugly. These are the people that I cannot possibly thank enough. So this one goes out to you all: you know who you are. ❤

Thank you for making me feel special. Thank you for making me feel loved and supported each and every day. Thank you for making me realize that life is full of adventure and that a few bad days shouldn’t get me down. Thank you for inspiring me and enlightening me, for showing me a different side to the world. Thank you for looking out for me, for believing in me, and for making me feel like I am a meaningful part of this world. You lift me up when I need you most and deserve you the least. Thanks for listening to me talk and laugh way too much, and even babble and cry. Thank you for showing me that a life full of love is the most meaningful life of all. Thank you for letting me be the cheesy, sentimental sap that I am. Thank you for being there at any time, even when some of you are thousands of miles away.

I am beyond blessed to have a support system that has my back no matter where I venture. I want you to know that I don’t take any of you for granted, and you mean the world to me. You have shown me what it means to be a selfless individual, and I hope I can be the kind of support system to everyone else, that you are to me. You sure are some special people on this earth, and I want you to know that you are so so important to me, and I cannot say that enough! Thanks for the laughs, and the unforgettable memories. Thank you to the people that are far away, that still make their best effort to keep in touch when they can. You have shaped my life and made it amazing.

Some of you have been in my life for a long time, some for not that long. Some of you I talk to
everyday, some of you once a month if I’m lucky. Either way, I just want you to know that I really really appreciate you and I know I can count on you in a heartbeat. So thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. You have impacted me more than you could ever know
